- The J&K administration on Monday said it "aims to rejuvenate and transform more than 75 villages in the union territory by promoting tourism and giving sustainable employment for the youth"
- The programme is part of the Tourist Village Network program under Mission Youth to ensure balanced and equitable development of tourism sector across the length and breadth of the UT. The government has launched this program to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
- The initiative launched under the Mission Youth "will work towards giving a facelift to the 75 villages that are already famous for their historical background, picturesque landscape and cultural importance, " a J&K spokesman said.As per the spokesman, the initiative is "destined to promote homestays across the UT" and "will strengthen the rural economy in the region, turn youth into entrepreneurs and empower women by offering numerous opportunities of employment".

- Jammu and Kashmir has become the first Union Territory to be integrated with the national single window system as Lt Governor Manoj Sinha launched the J&K single-window portal, integrating it with the national single-window system.
- While 130 industrial services have been made online on a single-window system, over 160 more services would be integrated this year, the Lt Governor said.
- Lt Governor said his administration is linking Jammu and Kashmir into a web of partnerships with the domestic and foreign companies and ensuring global best practices in “our regulatory institutions and system”.

- Abhishek Zomato is in the process of issuing 34,873 Series J preference shares to the new investors at an issue price of Rs 3,00,235, the company said in the filings.
- 2Zomato is set to raise around $146 million (Rs 1,085 crore) as part of its Series J funding round from a clutch of investors, including Mirae Asset, Steadview Capital, Luxor Capital Group, Lugard Road Capital and ASP India, regulatory filings sourced from business intelligence platform Tofler showed.
- It has already raised Rs 38 crore ($5.12 million) from existing investor UK-based Pacific Horizon Investment Trust.
