- Run by 33-year-old Rajesh Kumar Suman, ‘Green Pathshala’ coaching centre in Samastipur, Bihar provides coaching to students for various government service exams, and charges saplings as a fee.
- This unique school not only helps the poor get a quality education and helps them qualify for prestigious exams, but also promotes greenery.
- Over 90,000 saplings collected from students have been planted since the institute’s founding. The centre is also aimed at improving the gender balance among the students who appear for these exams, as 40 percent of the students are female.

- इन वेंटिलेटर्स को अब तक नेपाल के अलावा दो और एशियन देशों के ऑर्डर भी पूरे कर चुके हैं. नेपाल को अब तक 800 वेंटिलेटर्स मुहैया कराए है इन वेंटिलेटर्स को कहीं भी आसानी से ले जाया जा सकता है. इसे बनाने में डॉक्टर्स की सुरक्षा का पूरा ध्यान रखा गया है.

- आंत्रप्रेन्योर लक्ष्मी मेनन ने ये नोटिस किया है कि पीपीई किट के बचे हुए टुकड़े कई बार शहर में यहां-वहां पड़े हुए दिखाई देते हैं। इस तरह के दो या दो से अधिक कपड़ों को उन्होंने अपने बेडरोल बनाने के लिए आपस में मिलाया। इस बिस्तर को लक्ष्मी ने 'शैया' नाम दिया।
- लक्ष्मी कहती हैं इस तरह के बेड बनाने से दो फायदा हुआ। बेकार बचे हुए कपड़ों का सही इस्तेमाल हुआ। साथ ही सुविधाजनक बेडरोल बनने से इसका उपयोग करने वाले मरीजों को आराम मिला।
- लक्ष्मी कहती हैं मेरा प्रयास उन सभी लोगों के लिए आदर्श स्थापित करेगा जो दूसरों की सेवा करने का जज्बा रखते हैं।

- Dev Pratap Singh co-founded ‘Voice of Slum’ with Chandni Khan, an NGO now educating over 500 children. It also distributed over 20 lakh meals during the pandemic. In early age Dev was negatively impacted by miscreants famous in his area and wanted to be like them.
- Seeing the plight of other children collecting garbage as he did several years ago, the duo decided to start an NGO. But neither had the money. Voice of Slum is run by over 30 salaried staff members, who teach these children and take care of the NGO. The children are taught the basics, with a focus on practical knowledge and less on the theoretical aspect.
- At present, the NGO caters to over 500 children of which 370 children are enrolled in formal schools. The remaining 130 are still preparing. Dev says, “We want to open a formal school by 2023, and further expand our operations to more places. We also are taking forward our work to Madhya Pradesh and help more kids in the days to come.
