24011. चमड़ा, उसके उत्पादों का निर्यात अप्रैल-मई 2021 में बढ़कर 64.172 करोड़ डॉलर: सीएलई
- देश का चमड़ा, उसके उत्पादों और जूते-चप्पलों का निर्यात अप्रैल-मई 2021 में पिछले साल की इसी अवधि के 14.679 करोड़ डॉलर से बढ़कर 64.172 करोड़ डॉलर हो गया।
- चमड़ा निर्यात परिषद (सीएलई) ने रविवार को यह जानकारी दी। देश के चमड़ा और चर्म उत्पाद उद्योग के शीर्ष व्यापार संवर्धन संगठन सीएलई ने साथ ही कहा कि आने वाले महीनों में यह गति बने रहने की उम्मीद है।.
- "नवीनतम आंकड़े के मुताबिक चमड़ा, उसके उत्पादों और जूते-चप्पलों का निर्यात अप्रैल-मई 2021 में पिछले साल की इसी अवधि के 14.679 करोड़ डॉलर से बढ़कर 64.172 करोड़ डॉलर हो गया। यह हमारे लिए काफी अच्छी शुरुआत है जिसकी हमें आगे बने रहने की उम्मीद है क्योंकि भारत को स्रोत और निवेश के अनुकूल गंतव्य के रूप में देखा जाता है।"

24012. Bihar exports GI-tagged mangoes to London
- Bihar exported the first one-tonne consignment of geographical indications (GI) certified Jardalu mangoes from Bhagalpur to London on Monday with state agriculture minister Amarendra Pratap Singh virtually flagging it off.
- GI relates to a specific geographical origin of a product and certifies that it possesses qualities or a reputation due to that.
- The mangoes were packed in Lucknow before the Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority exported them in collaboration with the Bihar government, the Indian High Commission in London, and Invest India

24013. Indian oilmeals export up by 52% in April-May 2021-22
- India exported 5.31 lakh tonnes of oilmeals in the first two months of the fiscal 2021-22 against 3.50 lakh tonnes in the same period a year ago
- The country exported 2.74 lakh tonnes of rapeseed meal during April-May against 1.65 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of 2020-21. Of the total exports of rapeseed meal during April-May, exports to South Korea stood at 1.48 lakh tonnes and Thailand at 54,230 tonnes.
- India exported 92,139 tonnes of soybean meal during the first two months of the fiscal against 72,554 tonnes in the corresponding period a year ago. Of this, the US imported 30,703 tonnes and South Korea 9,840 tonnes.

24014. India's sugar exports touch 4.25 mn tonnes so far this year: AISTA
- According to AISTA, mills have exported a total of 4.25 million tonnes of sugar from January 1 till June 7, 2021. Mills have contracted to export 5.85 million tonnes of sugar so far, as against the 6 million tonnes quota assigned by the food ministry in January this year, All India Sugar Trade Association (AISTA) said in a statement
- AISTA said the sugar export without subsidy has started and about 2 lakh tonnes has been traded so far.
- AISTA has revised sugar production to 35 million tonnes for the 2020-21 marketing year from earlier projections of 29.9 million tonnes. Consumption will be pegged at 25.5 million tonnes.

24015. India exports 24 metric tonne of groundnuts to Nepal
- A consignment of 24 metric tonnes (MT) of groundnuts was exported to Nepal from West Bengal, informed the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
- According to the commerce ministry, the consignment sourced from farmers of West Midnapore district of West Bengal, was exported by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) registered Laduram Promoters Pvt Ltd, Kolkata.
- "India exported 6.38 lakh tonnes worth of Rs 5,381 crore of groundnuts during 2020-21. The groundnuts are exported to mostly countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Russia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and Nepal," the ministry said.

24016. लक्षद्वीप ने जापान को टुना मछली का निर्यात शुरू किया, प्रतिदिन 5 टन टोक्यो भेजने की तैयारी
- केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के प्रशासन ने इसके निर्यात के लिए निजी क्षेत्र से हाथ मिलाया है। टुना मछली की पहली खेप शनिवार को अगति हवाई अड्डे से बेंगलुरु लाई गई।
- लक्षद्वीप में 7,197 रजिस्टर्ड मछुआरे हैं। ये मछुआरे मछली मारने के लिए 2,158 मोटरयुक्त नौका का इस्तेमाल करते हैं।
- केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के प्रशासन ने इसके निर्यात के लिए निजी क्षेत्र से हाथ मिलाया है। लक्षद्वीप के जिलाधिकारी एस असकर अली ने बताया कि हम जापान को टुना मछली का निर्यात बढ़ाना चाहते हैं। उन्होंने इसको लेकर बयान दर्ज किया है।

24017. आम, लीची, चीकू और कटहल के बाद भारत ने शुरू किया जामुन का एक्सपोर्ट, UP से पहली खेप जा रही UK
- भारत सरकार किसानों की आय बढ़ाने की दिशा में निरंतर काम कर रही है. भारत ने आम, लीची, चीकू और कटहल का विभिन्न देशों में एक्सपोर्ट किया है. इसी कड़ी में अब जामुन का नाम भी जुड़ गया है.
- उत्तर प्रदेश से जामुन की खेप को लंदन के लिए रवाना कर दिया गया है.
- एग्रीकल्चर एंड प्रोसेस्ड फूड प्रोडक्ट एक्सपोर्ट डेवेलपमेंट अथॉरिटी (एपीडा) ने ट्वीट किया और कहा, ‘बिठुर, कानपुर उत्तर प्रदेश के किसानों से प्राप्त मीठे और स्वादिष्ट जामुन, जिसे इंडियन ब्लैकबेरी के रूप में जाना जाता है, की पहले खेप हवाई मार्ग से लंदन एक्सपोर्ट की जा रही है. इसे एपीडा के पंजीकृत निर्यात द्वारा भेजा रहा है.’

24018. India exports 11,49,341 MT of Marine products during FY21
- The COVID pandemic and sluggish overseas markets cast their shadow over India’s resurgent seafood sector as the country exported 11,49,341 MT of marine products worth Rs43,717.26cr (US$ 5.96 billion) during FY20-21, registering a contraction of 10.88% as compared to a year earlier.
- USA, China and the European Union were the leading importers, while frozen shrimp retained its position as the major export item, followed by frozen fish.
- In 2019-20, India exported 12,89,651 MT of seafood worth Rs46,662.85cr (US$ 6.68 billion), marking a decline of 6.31% in rupee terms and 10.81% in dollar value in 2020-21.

24019. भारत का अनारदाना और भिंडी जाएंगी विदेश, ऑस्ट्रेलिया सरकार कर रही है ये पहल
- ऑस्ट्रेलिया को भिंडी और अनार दाना को वहां के बाजार में पहुंच प्रदान करने के भारत के अनुरोध पर तेजी से काम करने का आश्वासन दिया।
- कृषि मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर के साथ बैठक में आस्ट्रेलिया के कृषि, सूखा और आपात प्रबंधन मंत्री डेविड लिटिलप्राउड ने उक्त बात कही। तोमर और लिटिलप्राउड की ‘ऑनलाइन’ बैठक में कृषि क्षेत्र में द्विपक्षीय सहयोग पर चर्चा की गयी।
- ऑस्ट्रेलियाई मंत्री ने भिंडी और अनार दाना के लिए बाजार पहुंच को लेकर भारत के अनुरोध पर तेजी से काम करने का आश्वासन दिया।

24020. भारत का निर्यात मई में बढ़कर पहुंचा 32.21 अरब डॉलर
- वाणिज्य मंत्रालय (Commerce Ministry) के प्रारंभिक आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, इस दौरान इंजीनियरिंग, दवा, पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों और रसायनों के निर्यात में खासतौर से तेजी देखी गई.
- पिछले साल मई में निर्यात 19.24 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर और मई 2019 में 29.85 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर था. बयान के मुताबिक, मई 2021 में आयात (Import) 68.54 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 38.53 अरब डॉलर हो गया, जो मई 2020 में 22.86 अरब डॉलर और मई 2019 में 46.68 अरब डॉलर था.
- मंत्रालय ने कहा, ‘‘भारत इस तरह मई 2021 में 6.32 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर के व्यापार घाटे के साथ एक शुद्ध आयातक है. मई 2020 में व्यापार घाटा (Trade Deficit) 3.62 अरब डॉलर था। व्यापार घाटे में मई 2020 के मुकाबले 74.69 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई.’’
