- इंजीनियरिंग और रत्न एवं आभूषण क्षेत्र के दमदार प्रदर्शन से जुलाई में निर्यात में बढ़ोतरी हुई ।
- जुलाई में पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों का निर्यात 3.82 अरब डॉलर, इंजीनियरिंग का 2.82 अरब डॉलर और रत्न एवं आभूण क्षेत्र का 1.95 अरब डॉलर रहा।
- जुलाई में अमेरिका को 2.4 अरब डॉलर, यूएई को 1.21 अरब डॉलर और बेल्जियम को 49 करोड़ डॉलर का निर्यात हुआ। .

23943. पांच गुना बढ़ जाएगी टेराकोटा के निर्यात की क्षमता, तैयार हुआ एक्सपोर्ट एक्शन प्लान
- गोरखपुर जिले में एक जिला एक उत्पाद (ओडीओपी) योजना में चयनित उत्पादों के निर्यात के लिए जिले का एक्सपोर्ट एक्शन प्लान तैयार कर लिया गया है।
- गोरखपुर को लेकर जो कार्ययोजना बनाई गई है, उसमें तकनीक को अपनाने पर जोर दिया गया है।
- टेराकोटा उत्पादों का खास जिक्र करते हुए यहां भी बुलंदशहर के खुर्जा के कामन फैसिलिटि सेंटर (सीएफसी) की तरह ही आधुनिक तकनीक का प्रयोग करने की सलाह दी गई है। निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद की ओर से गोरखपुर सहित 10 जिलों को निर्यात का हब बनाने का निर्णय लिया गया है।

23944. बड़ी सफलता- एक साल में इस कृषि प्रोडक्ट का एक्सपोर्ट हुआ डबल, इन देशों ने की जमकर खरीदारी
- पशुधन उत्पादों का निर्यात अप्रैल-जून (2021-22) के दौरान अप्रैल-जून, (2020-21) की तुलना में 106 फीसदी बढ़ा है, जो इस अवधि के दौरान 3668 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 7543 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है.
- एपीडा के जरिए निर्यात होने वाले उत्पादों का निर्यात, वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान 23.8 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 19.97 अरब डॉलर पर पहुंच गया है. जो वित्त वर्ष 2019-20 के दौरान 16.13 अरब डॉलर था.
- यहां तक कि कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान भी कृषि उत्पादों का निर्यात निर्बाध रूप से हो रहा है. भारत ने वित्त वर्ष 2020-2021 के दौरान लगभग 41 अरब डॉलर मूल्य के कृषि और प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य उत्पादों का निर्यात किया है. जिसमें 17.4 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है

23945. Farmer Gives Up 50-Acre Land To Protect ‘Deer’ Friends, Increases Population To 1800!
- R Gurusamy, a farmer from Tamil Nadu, gave up most of his ancestral land to care for a few wandering deer in the vicinity. Today, even amid water and food shortage in the nearby forest, his land is a safe haven for over 1,800 deer
- K Ravindran, an environmentalist and president of the Nature Society of Tirupur, an NGO, says, “I have been following Gurusamy’s work since 2010, and his work is commendable in protecting and increasing the deer population. However, deer is a herbivorous species, and there are no carnivores to keep a tab on the grazing population in the surroundings. Moreover, with banana, tapioca and other dense tree plantations, one can mistake Gurusamy’s farm for a mini forest.”
- “I saw about 110 deer during my first visit over a decade ago, and today there are hundreds thriving in the area. The district collector and forest department officials frequently visit the farm to ensure the protection of the wildlife.
23946. How World Vision India is solving irrigation woes of farmers in Nagpur
- World Vision India (WVI) is conducting a livelihood development and water management project in Nagpur, Maharashtra, changing the lives of almost 805 farmers in the district.
- The organisation — which introduced a livelihood development and water management project in Nagpur — provides marginal farmers in villages with the necessary assistance to switch to solar irrigation pumps to meet their irrigational demand through renewable energy applications.
- WVI has also implemented training programmes to build capacities of 59 marginal and small farmers in the project area. These programmes aim to enhance farmers’ understanding of the importance of conservation agriculture and crop diversification.

- Wadhwani Foundation has funded Jaipur-based Frontier Markets’ initiative Saral Jeevan Sahelis, which aims to recruit women from rural India and provide them with skill training and opportunity to earn a stable livelihood.
- The partnership aims to empower the startup’s saleswomen from rural India to earn a monthly salary of Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000.
- Sanjay Shah, Chief Operating Officer of Wadhwani Foundation in India and Southeast Asia, said that Frontier Markets is changing the way villages buy products and services, and how businesses are conducted across the hinterland through an army of rural women salesforce called ‘Sahelis.

- Ahalya Ram and Mithun Chakkaravarthy quit stable jobs in the US to launch Curl Up, a haircare brand for curly and textured hair. The D2C brand has received a lot of love on social media, and aims to help people across India embrace their curls.
- The idea behind offering a basic set of products was to keep it simple as the consumers are already overwhelmed and unaware due to the presence of many products in the market. Now working with a team of 20 people, the haircare startup has a total of six different products priced between Rs 595 and Rs 750.
- The duo spent time on research, attended many conferences, and spoke to formulators and professionals in the cosmetic industry before flying to India. They then started the ground work from Bengaluru, developed an in-house formulation for Indian hair, and officially launched Curl Up in 2019.
