- Delhi-based startup Ziptrax Cleantech leverages AI to repurpose discarded Li-ion batteries and manufactures battery packs for electric two and three-wheeler vehicles.
- “If you talk about parameters such as waves, energy, density, or size, Li-ion batteries are much better than lead-acid ones. However, lead-acid batteries will continue to have a substantial market share because of their price,” says Rohan Singh, Co-founder of Ziptrax Cleantech — an electric cell repurposing startup.
- For this reason, Ziptrax Cleantech leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to repurpose discarded Li-ion batteries. as well as manufactures battery packs for electric two and three-wheeler vehicles.

- Delhi-based AI startup Devnagri is a human translation platform that combines neural machine translation and machine learning with human intervention to provide efficient and accurate services. It has more than 5,000 translators who work in 22 Indian languages.
- Inspired by the versatility and diversity of the script and the many Indian languages that use it, Himanshu Sharma and Nakul Kundra founded AI-powered startup Devnagri
- The founder claims that Devnagri is at least 10 times more efficient and accurate than other translation platforms, due to the human intervention in the translation processes. The bootstrapped startup was awarded the Best Emerging Portal For Translation & Localisation Services 2019 – INDIA by Business Mint in 2019. In 2020, Devnagri was selected in the Special Category at RAISE 2020, India’s biggest AI Solution Challenge for Indian startups, in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) category.
