1181. Cabinet announces ₹7,616 cr highway, railway projects in poll-bound Bihar
- On 10 september, 2025, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved two transport projects in Bihar worth ₹7,616 crore: a four-lane Mokama–Munger highway and doubling of the Bhagalpur-Dumka-Rampurhat rail line across Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
- Chaired by Prime Minister the committee’s approval was announced by Union Minister . The projects will be executed through the hybrid annuity model and rail infrastructure expansion to boost connectivity and efficiency.
- The highway costs ₹4,447.38 crore, cuts travel time to 1.5 hours, and creates 3.3 million man-days employment. The ₹3,169 crore rail project boosts freight capacity by 15 million tonnes, saves 50 million litres oil, and benefits 2.87 million people.
1182. Satpuda Engineering drives make in India forward with 12,000+ GoRill ambulance stretchers deployed nationwide
- On 9 September, 2025 it was reported that, Satpuda Engineering of Nashik, India, delivered 12,000+ GoRill AIS-125 certified stretchers, designed for Indian roads and emergency conditions, marking a significant step in strengthening domestic healthcare manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

1183. MSI expands 'Make in India' manufacturing with Katana and Crosshair laptops featuring RTX 50 series graphics
- On September 9, 2025, in Mumbai, MSI announced local production of Katana and Crosshair series with RTX 50 Series Graphics at the Chennai facility under its ‘Make in India’ initiative, strengthening India’s global tech and manufacturing role.

1184. PM Modi announces financial assistance of Rs 1600 crore for flood-affected Punjab
- On 9 september, 2025, Prime Minister of India announced a financial assistance of Rs 1,600 crore for the flood-ravaged Punjab, battling its worst deluge since 1988, in addition to the Rs 12,000 crore already in the state’s kitty.
- Prime Minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the seriously injured in the floods and natural calamity.
- Prime Minister emphasised the need for a multi-dimensional approach to help the entire region and its people recover. This would include measures such as rebuilding homes under the PM Awas Yojana, restoring national highways, reconstructing schools, providing relief through the PMNRF, and distributing mini kits for livestock.

1185. Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya: Job Creation and Employment Generation Key Pillars of Strong, Self-Reliant India

- Speaking on the occasion, Minister, underlined the importance of job creation and employment generation as key pillars of a strong and self-reliant India.
- Minister added that the National Career Service Portal is playing a key role, with over fifty-one lakh registrations and forty-six lakh vacancies listed, including twenty-eight thousand international jobs.
1186. CM unveils ₹241-crore projects in Mauganj, pitches tourism and rural development
- On september 07, 2025, Madhya Pradesh CM inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth ₹241.33 crore in Mauganj, aiming to boost infrastructure, welfare, and tourism.
- The Bahuti Waterfall is set for enhancement under a Rs10 crore tourism project, and the Ashtbhuja Mata Temple will receive beautification works. An 11 km road linking Teepa Bador to Garhwa Road in the tribal region will also be constructed.
- Over 64,000 households have received LPG connections under the Ujjwala Yojana, and 44,000 poor families in rural and urban Mauganj have been provided permanent housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
1187. AstraZeneca announces Rs 176 crore investments in India to expand Chennai GITC
- On September 8, 2025, It was reported, Swedish company AstraZeneca has announced fresh investments of Rs 176 crore in India, reinforcing its commitment to healthcare innovation and technology. The announcement was made during the Tamil Nadu government’s “TN Rising” campaign in London
- The investment will expand the Global Innovation and Technology Centre’s infrastructure and capabilities to strengthen its position as a leader in healthcare innovation both globally and in India.
- According to company It is the third investment by AstraZeneca after it announced investments of Rs 166 crore in June, 2025, towards the establishment of a state-of-the-art Global Hub in Bengaluru.
1188. India, Israel ink bilateral investment treaty, says finance ministry
- On September 8, 2025, the finance ministry India and Israel have inked a bilateral investment treaty (BIT) which would help promote investments between the two countries.
- During April 2000 and June 2025, India has received USD 337.77 million foreign direct investment (FDI) from Israel. Signing of the pact is important as both countries are also negotiating a free trade pact.
- Cumulative investment from India to Israel during 2000-2025 was USD 443 million and Israel's contribution to India's foreign direct investment (FDI) during April 2000 – March 2025 was USD 334.2 million

1189. NPCI approves Viyona Fintech as third party UPI app provider
- On September 8, 025, Viyona Fintech, one of India’s emerging digital payments platforms, has been granted approval by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to operate as a Third Party Application Provider (TPAP).
- The approval will enable the company to offer Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services in collaboration with partner banks, further strengthening the country’s digital payments system.
- The flagship product, GRAAMPAY, is designed to support farmers, small merchants and local communities with digital collections, payouts and UPI transactions.

1190. AIIMS Raipur becomes first govt hospital in central India to get robotic surgery facility
