- पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे 340 किलोमीटर लंबा है जो प्रदेश के 9 जिलों से होकर गुजरा है। एक्सप्रेस-वे में 8 जगहों पर इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर बनाए जाने हैं। इस एक्सप्रेस-वे के द्वारा गाजीपुर से लखनऊ की दूरी 3.5 घंटे में पूरी की जा सकेगी

- प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 16 नवम्बर, 2021 को पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे का सु्ल्तानपुर में लोकार्पण करेंगे। पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे के उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम भव्य बनाया गया है। कार्यक्रम के भारतीय वायुसेना का एक शो भी आयोजित होगा।

- The Republic of Vietnam will receive 2,00,000 doses of Bharat Biotech’s COVAXIN vaccine, said Suchitra Ella, Joint Managing Director of Bharat Biotech at a function hosted by Vuong Dinh Hue, President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Thursday.
- This donation represents a gesture of goodwill to provide access to Bharat Biotech’s WHO-approved, indigenously-developed COVAXIN to fight the COVID-19 pandemic across borders. COVAXIN has received Emergency Use Listing (EUL) in Vietnam.
- Bharat Biotech has completed Phase-2 and Phase-3 trials of COVAXIN for children in the age group of 2 to 18 years. The data has been submitted to the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) and the final approval is awaited. On approval, children will also have access to COVAXIN.

- Noida is all set to get the country's largest heliport, designed for helicopter takeoffs and landings, under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
- On the lines of the Jewar airport model, the Noida Authority will set up a heliport in Sector 151 A and a tender is likely to be floated this week. Land and development rights will be given to a private agency for a time span of 30 years after the parties sign a concession agreement.
- The Noida heliport will have a 15 metre tall air traffic control system (ATC) and a parking lot where 50 cars can be parked. The helipad will be developed with four aprons having a capacity to book ten helicopters at any given time.

- Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has signed six agreements with four countries for launching foreign satellites during 2021-23. Its commercial arm New Space India Ltd inked the pacts for launching the satellites by India’s mainstay rocket PSLV, Union space minister Jitendra Singh said
- about 132 million euros will be earned through launches of these foreign satellites on a commercial basis.
- from 1999 to till date, a total of 342 foreign satellites belonging to 34 countries have been successfully launched on board PSLV on a commercial basis.

- The Indian Railways has installed the Real-Time Information System (RTES) in 93 trains of the Raipur Railway Division. This device will help retrieve accurate information about the arrival of the train at the station.
- n association with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), these satellite-based devices have been installed in trains by railways. The information of arrival and departure of the train at the station will be received with the help of the RTES.
- The satellite-based device installed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in the locomotives will read the speed of trains based on GPS and issue updates.

- The Indian subsidiary of US-based helicopter transport firm BLADE has launched its scheduled by-the-seat services on Bengaluru-Coorg and Bengaluru-Kabini routes in Karnataka.
- BLADE first entered the state in December 2020 with its weekend private charter services.With the launch of the services on the two routes, travel time to the two cities from the state capital will be reduced from 6-7 hours by road at present, the company said in a release.
- BLADE India said it aims to connect congested and inaccessible surface routes in the country through an efficient air transport system and provide an all-around holistic experience through its baggage and ground transfers and partner benefits.

- The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) tested its Solid Fueled Ducted Ramjet (SFDR) technology for the fourth time with a demonstration flight earlier.

- Along with the ongoing Gaganayaan programme to send a manned mission to space by 2023, the Centre is also simultaneously working on the country’s first manned scientific submersible for deep ocean missions. The project has been named ‘Samudrayaan’.

- A video of a Canadian Opposition lawmaker quizzing sitting Procurement Minister Anita Anand over contacting India to procure Covid-19 vaccines for the country is being widely shared on social media.
- Michelle Rempel Garner, a Conservative MP and Shadow Minister for Health, in a meeting of the standing committee on health asked if the Trudeau government had reached out to Prime Minister Modi for vaccines.
- India has been sending out vaccine doses in large numbers to other countries under the "Vaccine Maitri" initiative. Till now, as many as 15 countries have received COVID-19 vaccine supplies from India, while another 25 countries are queued at different levels to receive supplies, Union Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar has said.

- According to the information, the parties discussed the conditions for registration and delivery of the Indian vaccine Covaxin against coronavirus to Uzbekistan.
- ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) emphasized the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine and donated its strain to Bharat Biotech to develop an inactivated vaccine. The vaccine has been fast-tracked for emergency use by the national regulatory authority, which has confirmed the drug is safe and immunogenic.
