23392. कार जैसी खूबियों वाला है IIT खड़गपुर का ई थ्री-व्हीलर ‘देश्ला’

- ‘देश्ला’ (E Rickshaw Deshla) के बनने की शुरुआत करीब 5 साल पहले हुई थी। जब आईआईटी खड़गपुर में मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग में असोसिएट प्रोफेसर, विक्रांत रशेर्ला को उनके एक छात्र, सीमांत जय ने एक ईमेल भेजा। सीमांत को अपने प्रोजेक्ट के लिए फैकल्टी मेंटर्स की मदद की जरुरत थी। दरअसल, वह एक इलेक्ट्रिक रेसिंग कार बनाना चाहते थे।
- 55 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की रफ्तार से चलने वाले इस ‘देश्ला’ (E Rickshaw Deshla) प्रोटोटाइप की सिंगल चार्ज बैटरी रेंज 150 किलोमीटर की है, जिसके लिए 8.8 किलोवॉट आवर बैटरी पैक का इस्तेमाल किया गया है। लिथियम बैटरी में ऑपरेटिंग टेम्परेचर में 10 डिग्री की गिरावट, बैटरी लाइफ को 3 साल तक बढ़ा देती है। उपभोक्ता के लिए यह काफी फायदेमंद साबित होगी।
- 6 सवारियों की क्षमता वाला यह ई रिक्शा 40 किलोमीटर की अधिकतम गति से चलता है। टीम, ‘देश्ला’ का सफल ट्रायल कर चुकी है और साथ ही मोटर कंट्रोलर, बैटरी चार्जर मोटर, 3 जी सेलुलर कनेक्टिविटी मॉड्यूल, जीपीएस और एक बैटरी प्रबंधन प्रणाली जैसे एम्बेडेड और पावर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स सब सिस्टम भी विकसित कर चुकी है।
23393. दुर्घटना में दोनों हाथ और एक पैर खोने के बाद हौसले और साहस के दम पर बदली अपनी जिंदगी
- जयपुर के रोशन नागर एक सामान्य जिंदगी जी रहे थे लेकिन उनके साथ घटी एक दुर्घटना ने उनके जीवन को पूरी तरह से बदल दिया। हालांकि आज रोशन अपने अपने साहस और सराहनीय कामों के जरिये देश भर के युवाओं के लिए एक प्रेरणाश्रोत बन चुके हैं।
- साल 2002 में पतंग के शौकीन रहे रोशन 15 साल की उम् में पतंग को पकड़ते हुए एक दुर्घटना का शिकार हो गए थे। छत पर खड़े रोशन उस पतंग को पकड़ने के लिए एक लोहे की रॉड का सहारा ले रहे थे लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से वह रॉड ऊपर से गुज़र रही एक हाईटेंशन लाइन से छू गई और रोशन बुरी तरह से घायल हो गए।
- इस दौरान राजस्थान के एक एनजीओ ने उनकी मदद के लिए अपने हाथ आगे बढ़ाए और रोशन को वो पैसे उपलब्ध कराये। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक हाथ मिलने के बाद रोशन ने अपना निजी संस्थान शुरू किया, जहां वे युवाओं को विभिन्न सॉफ्टवेयर प्रोग्राम पढ़ाते थे और यह सुनिश्चित करते थे कि भविष्य में उन युवाओं को नौकरी के मौके मिल सकें। मीडिया से बात करते हुए रोशन ने बताया है कि हाल ही में उनका चयन बड़ौदा राजस्थान क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक में एक सहायक प्रबंधक के रूप में हो गया है। इसी के साथ रोशन एक सफल लेखक और एक मोटिवेशनल स्पीकर भी हैं। रोशन के तमाम प्रेरक कार्यों के लिए राजस्थान सरकार के साथ ही कई अन्य संस्थानों भी उन्हें सम्मानित कर चुके हैं।

23396. Indigenously developed next-gen Armoured Engineer Reconnaissance Vehicle inducted in Army's Corps of Engineers
- The first set of indigenously developed next-generation Armoured Engineer Reconnaissance Vehicle was inducted into the Corps of Engineers of Indian Army 21 dec 2021. Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane flagged off and inducted the Reconnaissance Vehicles and other equipment in a solemn function at Bombay Engineering Group in Pune.
- Addressing the event General Naravane said, AERVs induction will boost the Indian Army operations, particularly on the western front. Army Chief said that this is a crucial step concerning the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' in manufacturing defence equipment.
- The AERV has been designed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and manufactured by Ordnance Factory Medak & Bharat Electronics Limited, Pune. The vehicle is capable of carrying out reconnaissance of water obstacles and boggy patches for execution of engineer tasks with capabilities to carry out reconnaissance and provide real-time to force commanders.
23397. 1535 patents filed by IITs in last three years
- The Government today said 1535 patents have been filed by the IITs in the last three years. Out of these, 69 patents have been converted into products and processes, which have benefited the country.
- In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the total commercial value of these patents which have become commercially viable is over 13 hundred 21 lakh rupees.
- He said these institutes have been front runners in the field of research and innovation that have benefitted industry and the society.
23398. FPIs pumped in ₹60,094 cr in December into Indian markets so far
- According to the depositories data, FPIs invested a net ₹56,643 crore into equities and ₹3,451 crore into debt instruments between December 1-24. The total net investment during the period under review stood at ₹60,094 crore.

23400. India Inc raises record Rs 1.7 trillion via equity issues in 2020, up 116% year-on-year
- The devastating pandemic failed to dampen the primary and secondary capital market issuances with the year closing with the highest ever fundraising from the equity markets, that grew at 116% to Rs 1.78 lakh crore in IPOs, OFS and other market issuances, according to a report
- Despite the entire 2020 being overshadowed by the pandemic, all-time high fundraising through public equity markets at Rs 1,77,468 crore..
- While IPOs fetched Rs 26,770 crore, which was 40% higher than collected in 2019, FPOs netted Rs 15,024 crore, followed by OFS (offer for sale) at Rs 21,458 crore and REITs/InvITs/QIPs at Rs 84,501 crore, shows the report.
