2331. India’s First Loiter Munition Test Range, UAV Airstrip, to Reduce Foreign Dependence

2333. Bangladesh Receives 2.31 Lakh Eggs from India Amid Soaring Prices
- On 09 september 2024 In Bangladesh, amid rising egg prices, another shipment of two lakh, 31 thousand eggs reached the country from India through the Benapole land port
- The Bangladesh government has approved the phased import of 4.5 crore eggs to stabilise prices. By November, an additional 90 lakh eggs will be imported from India.
- The National Board of Revenue recently reduced the import duty on eggs from 25 to 5 percent, lowering the cost of imported eggs by 13.8 taka per dozen. This move aims to make eggs, the country’s most affordable source of protein, more accessible to the public.
