3. Khandu launches soft loan scheme to empower ITI graduates towards self-reliance
- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister announced the launch of a soft loan scheme for ITI pass-outs, aimed at enabling technically skilled youth to establish their own entrepreneurial ventures and move confidently towards self-reliance.
- The Chief Minister Soft Loan Scheme (CMSLS), to be implemented by the skill development and entrepreneurship department, is open to candidates who have passed out from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) within the last three years, beginning from 2022.
- Under the CMSLS, eligible ITI graduates can avail of financial support through two tranches of soft loans. The first tranche will provide up to Rs 1 lakh, while the second one offers up to Rs 2 lakh.
- In addition, beneficiaries will receive a toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000. To further ease the repayment burden, the scheme includes a 25 per cent loan subsidy and a 7 per cent interest subsidy.

4. DPIIT signs MoU with a leading Fintech Platform Razorpay, to strengthen India’s Startup Ecosystem

6. Assam launches entrepreneurship support scheme for women

9. Assam CM announces advance salary facility for state government employees
- Assam Chief Minister on February 2, 2026 announced a major relief measure for state government employees, stating that they will now be able to avail their salary in advance on a need-based basis. The announcement was made at Lok Sewa Bhawan, Dispur.
- Under the new arrangement, the Assam government will allow its employees to draw advance salary, which can be repaid either in a single payment or through installments within a year. Employees opting for this facility will be required to pay minimum interest to the bank.
- 9,000 employees who have already benefited from the portal earlier will not be eligible to apply again, while those who missed the opportunity will be able to seek transfers to their preferred locations.

10. Tripura launches Skill Gap Study to empower rural youth
